Project background
Motors catastrophically failing with issues at both the bearings and electrical connections.
Excessive audible noise exceeding industry acceptable limits.
Electrical connections inside the motor junction boxes were becoming loose, resulting in electrical shorting out, ultimately causing destruction of the motors.
The OEM of the VFD informed customer that there was “nothing they could do on their end”.
Vibe.FX Solution
Performed Vibe.FX VFD tuning procedure plan. This scope expanded and was implemented to optimize all motors on both facilities
It has been reported as a result of our finetuning VFD procedure, the entire MCC had become significantly quieter. This resulted in audible running acoustics within industry limits
