Background: In 2017, three vertical water pumps were installed. Two of the three pumps never ran properly and would not pass commissioning tests. Attempts to resolve for almost 2 years unsuccessful after many invasive and expensive procedures.

The retailer of the pumps had removed both pumps several times and shipped back to the mainland and to Edmonton for repairs in attempts to address/find the issue.

3 other engineering companies hired to figure out the issues over the course of 2 years. All had zero success(s).End user had still not taken possession of pumps.

Our role was to identify the issue/root cause, report back and suggest a path forward.

We not only isolated and identified the issues; we also addressed these issues within a couple hours of being on site. Onsite at 9am. Offsite at noon. Both pumps currently operate better industry standards.

The OEM of the pumps had 5 team members (from Chili, Toronto, USA, Edmonton and Calgary) conference call following the job to summarize the procedures as they could not provide a solution previously.
